Solution for network error connection timed out: putty

Steps to be followed:

1.Check your network settings on ubuntu. Keep it Bridged adaptor.

2.Turn off firewall and do system restart.

3.Check SSH status.

4.Install SSH on ubuntu using apt -get- install ssh

5.Try again.

6.Once again try by keeping firewall on.

These steps will also help for the same issue in WinSCP.
